Hand Processed Batt - Shetland + Alpaca

Petal & Hank's batts are a labor of love. Starting with raw fleeces, the process includes skirting, scouring, hand picking, and multiple passes through the drum carder. These batts are truly hand processed and small batch, which means they are nearly VM free and meticulously prepped. Due to the time intensive nature of this process, this product will soon be retired. The current offerings in the shop are likely the last of this line.

This batt is made from an undyed Shetland fleece that has a small amount of white alpaca blended in. The color resulting from this blend is a warm, neutral camel color with subtle heathering. This fine Shetland and Alpaca blend would be a delight to spin longdraw.

This listing is for a double batt. There will be two 50 gr batts stacked and rolled together for a total of 100 grams of fiber.
