Organic Merino - Sport - Sorbet

This commercially made yarn base is a plump 100% organic Merino wool. This 3-ply, sport weight yarn is both sturdy and soft. The organic merino fiber takes the natural dyes with beautiful depth, saturation, and crispness.

Each skein has been bundle-dyed with a custom blend of natural dye materials to yield a range of colors and visual texture. Dyes include Minnesota grown flowers, foraged dyes, and select items sourced from responsible natural dye companies and local farms.

Given the nature of the natural dye materials and the bundle dyeing technique, each skein is slightly different. Skeins are dyed in small batches, so multiple skeins from the same listing should be very similar in appearance. Expect slight variations and plan your project accordingly. 

For longevity of the natural dye colors, hand wash in cool water with gentle soap and store away from the sun.
