Cormo Yarn

This earthy color comes from a combination of black walnut and Saxon Blue Indigo. The resulting army green and brown tonal yarn come as a surprise for those that know the typical aqua blue that Saxon Blue Indigo usually yields! This mellow color palette is on a decadent Cormo yarn that is entirely sourced from Wisconsin. Cormo sheep are a fine wool breed and grow gleaming white fleece that are protected by coats as the fleece grows. This extra effort yields special fiber that makes a great pairing with natural dyes. Fleeces from Felix and Oscar of Holly Ridge Farm were combined at a Wisconsin mill to create these 110 gr skeins with 300 yards each.
