Roving - Southdown Purple/Blue

This roving is a combination of two natural dyed fleeces in 2 different colors, milled side by side. This Southdown wool comes from a Minnesota farm who keeps sheep for 4-H activities. The purple was made with logwood and pomegranate dye and the blue is from saxon blue indigo. This down breed wool is naturally resistant to felting and the side by side colors give the spinner lots of options for color use.
