Visible Mending/Embroidery Yarn Set - Tapestry

These lustrous mini skeins are made of superwash Bluefaced Leicester wool and silk. This base is the only superwash item in Petal & Hank's lineup. It was carefully selected for use in visible mending and darning, where machine washing may be desired. Embellishments like sashiko-style stitching and embroidery would look fantastic in this yarn. Also a match for crewel, needlepoint, and cross stitch. So many possibilities!

Each includes 7 mini skein has been dyed with a custom blend of natural dye materials and 1 white mini skein. Dyes include Minnesota grown flowers, foraged plants, and select items sourced from responsible natural dye companies and local farms.

Given the nature of the natural dye materials and the dyeing techniques, each skein is slightly different. Mini skeins are dyed in small batches and sold in limited edition sets. 

For longevity of the natural dye colors, wash in cool water with gentle soap and store away from the sun.
